DUST AND STARLIGHT





We humans,
Made of dust and starlight,

Shine like starlight,
Smell of dung.

Will we forgive God?
Will we forgive ourselves?

Maybe.
Maybe we should.

We are dust and divinity,
God’s Sousa upbeat.
