What would you do
If God told a joke
Lose all respect
Give your priest a poke?

What would you say
If God liked to laugh
Double your doubts
Cut your faith in half?

What  would you think
If God played hide and seek
Decide he’s for children,
The sick and the weak?

What will you confess
If at heaven’s door,
“Oh God, I messed up,
Should have laughed and played more.”

  1. I have read and re-read your poems so that I could comment on my favorite one. I really like this one. Although, I really like a lot of them. I am so glad you have found your passion in writing and are daring to share it with the world. You have an amazing talent and wisdom. I am so glad to be your daughter. And can't wait to see what my birthday poem will be. :-)
